JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a passionate IT Infrastructure & Support Manager to join our young and growing team. As an IT Infrastructure & Support Manager you own the definition, operation and maintenance of the complete ERC IT infrastructure and you are the first point of contact for your colleagues. The general work is ranging from providing IT devices and introducing new colleagues to the IT, setting up and maintain our servers, define and update our network concept and taking care of our tools. You will have the chance to shape the future of aerial mobility by not only managing our IT infrastructure but also shape its concepts and services coordinating with partners and suppliers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
– Provision of technical IT solutions according our company policies
– Management of configurations, devices, software and licenses
– Network Management
– Server Operation
– Determination of device and license needs
– Coordination and collaboration with IT service providers
– 1st level support internally

YOUR PROFILE
you should …

– Have preferable some years of professional experience in IT management
– Have good German and English skills (written and spoken) 

– Have an advanced understanding and experience in a wide range of IT technologies
– Have certified Windows and Linux Server knowledge
– Have good insights in User Access Management
– Have well experience in IT security
– Hands on experience in server management and maintenance
– Have strong motivation to establish processes and structures
– Have good skills in script languages and usage of scripts for automation tasks
– Have a high level of self-management with the ability to work in a team, as well as autonomous target-oriented, driven workstyle with analytic problem-solving skills

Moreover, we appreciate if you …

are familiar with HPC clusters and workload managers (e.g. slurm)
