Inspiration, Impulse und Netzwerkmöglichkeiten in Potsdam und Amsterdam
Das Hasso-Plattner-Institut in Potsdam vergibt Reisestipendien an insgesamt zehn Informatikstudentinnen. In diesem Jahr reisen die Studentinnen zu gleich zwei Konferenzen. Eine Bewerbung ist ab sofort und bis zum 24. April 2022 möglich.
Du studierst Informatik und suchst nach Austausch und Inspiration? Die diesjährigen Reisestipendien verbinden die Möglichkeit, Einblicke in neue Forschungs- und Arbeitsfelder in der Tech-Branche zu erhalten und zudem Tipps und Fähigkeiten für Deinen Karriere zu erlangen.
Als Stipendiatin nimmst du an der ersten Women in Tech Konferenz des Hasso-Plattner-Instituts in Potsdam teil und lässt Dich hier von Talks und Panels zum Thema Future Work und moderne Arbeitswelten inspirieren. Der zweite Konferenztag hält zudem Workshop-Angebote bereit, die Studierende auf ihrem Karriereweg unterstützen. Die Student:innen erwartet ein reger Austausch mit Speaker:innen und Unternehmen.
Eine Teilnahme der Women in Tech Konferenz in Potsdam ist für Studentinnen auch ohne Stipendium zu einem ermäßigten Preis möglich.
Im Juni geht es dann gemeinsam nach Amsterdam zu Europas größten Women in Technology Konferenz. Mehr als 250 internationale Speaker:innen teilen vor über 5000 Teilnehmenden ihr Expert:innenwissen und geben Einblicke in neue Forschungs- und Arbeitsfelder.
Die Teilnahmegebühren und Reisekosten für beide Konferenzen werden dabei durch das Stipendium abgedeckt.

Interessierte Informatik-Studentinnen von allen Universitäten und Hochschulen können sich online für die Stipendien bewerben. Die Teilnehmerinnenzahl ist auf 10 beschränkt.
Teilnahmevoraussetzung ist das Mitsenden eines aktuellen Lebenslaufes und eine kurze Darlegung der Motivation teilzunehmen. Das Motivationsschreiben sollte zwischen einer halben und ganzen Seite lang sein.

Inspiration, impulses, and networking opportunities in Potsdam and Amsterdam
The Hasso Plattner Institute in Potsdam is once again awarding travel scholarships to ten female computer science students. This year, the students will travel to two conferences. Applications are now open and will be accepted until April 24, 2022.
Are you studying computer science and looking for exchange and inspiration? This year’s travel scholarships combine the opportunity to gain insights into new research and work fields in the tech industry, as well as tips and skills for your career.
As a scholarship holder, you will attend the first Women in Tech Conference of the Hasso Plattner Institute in Potsdam, where you will be inspired by talks and panels on the topic of Future Work and modern working environments. The second day of the conference also offers workshops to support students on their career paths. In addition, students can expect a lively exchange with speakers and companies.
In June, they will travel together to Amsterdam for Europe’s largest Women in Technology conference. More than 250 international speakers will share their expert knowledge with over 5,000 participants and provide insights into new fields of research and work.
The scholarship will cover the participation fees and travel expenses for both conferences.
The dates:
- May 12 and 13, 2022: Women in Tech Conference in Potsdam, Germany (conference language will be German)
- June 08 and 09, 2022: European Women in Tech Conference in Amsterdam, Netherlands
Your application:
Interested female computer science students from all higher education institutions (i.e., universities and universities of applied sciences) can apply online for the scholarships. The number of participants is limited to 10.
To apply, you must send a current CV and a brief explanation of why you would like to attend. The motivation letter should be at least ½ page long but no longer than a full page.
