The Intelligent Vehicles (IV)-Lab at Hochschule München is looking for a Student Assistant (m/f/d) to support research in the field of Autonomous Driving from 01.10.2024 for at least 8 h/week or more.
Your Tasks:
- Create high-quality digital content and visualize research results to com- municate our research vision.
- Create an autonomous driving asset library in the IVL theme for presenta- tions and seminars.
- Develop and maintain web applications for data manipulation and retrieval.
- Move our WordPress site to a new server and conceptualize and implement a new UI using current UX standards.
- Write plug-ins for Unreal Engine 5 to integrate external software, tools, and data types.
Your Profile
- You are passionate about Autonomous Driving and emerging technologies in mobility.
- You have experience with visualization and design of abstract concepts and a keen eye for visual details. It’s a plus if you have a portfolio and had classes on UI/UX development.
- You are proficient in JavaScript, CSS, XML and desirably, familiar with modern web development frameworks, like React.
- It is desirable, if you have prior experience with 3D simulation environments (e.g. Unreal Engine, CARLA).

In the projects STADT:up and NxtAIM we drive forth AI research on autonomous driving with numerous industry and research partners, contributing on perception, prediction, planning and simulation of urban scenarios
