Im Rahmen des Jubiläums „50 Jahre Olympische Spiele in München“ lädt das Studierendenviertel Olympisches Dorf alle Interessierten zu einem (inter)kulturellen und vielfältigen Austausch ein.
Vom 23. bis 25. Juni 2022 findet auf dem Areal des ehemaligen Athletinnen-Dorfs ein buntes 3-tägiges Festprogramm mit Live-Bands auf der Outdoor-Bühne des “Copa Connolly”, dem Nachwuchs-Wettbewerb ComOly rund um das Thema Inklusion sowie Party in der Olydisco statt.
Passend zu den seit Olympia 2020 neu entstandenen Disziplinen „Sportklettern“ und „Skateboard“ bietet sich für alle die Möglichkeit sich auszuprobieren: mit einem inklusives Sportprogramm am praktisch barrierefreien Kletterturm, Skate-Schnupperkurse für Studentinnen* sowie Teamspaß beim „Human Kicker“.
Selbstverständlich dürfen dabei auch die Historie des Areals und die kritische Auseinandersetzung mit gesellschaftspolitischen Fragestellungen und Teilhabe nicht fehlen: Das Rahmenprogramm beinhaltet Talks und Workshops zu Themen wie Diskriminierungssensible Sprache & Gendern, Anti-Rassismus-Training, Zivilcourage oder auch Alltagsseximus sowie einen FLINTA*-DJ-Workshop.
In kunstpädagogischen Fotoprojekten soll der historische Ort erkundet und für seine aktuellen Bewohner:innen greifbar gemacht werden. Besonders interessant für Bungalowbewohner:innen ist der Urban Art Workshop “Mural & Siebdruck”, bei dem die Teilnehmenden lernen, ihre eigene Bungalow-Fassade individuell zu gestalten.
Themen-Spaziergänge und Radl-Touren über das Areal verdeutlichen die architektonische und (inter)kulturelle Vielfalt des Orts und zeigen die zahlreichen gemeinschaftlichen Nachhaltigkeitsprojekte, die hier in den vergangenen 50 Jahren entstanden sind.
Und für die Kleinen ab 3 Jahre gibt es einen besonderen Workshop: Kinder von Studierenden erhalten in einem Kreativkurs unter Anleitung von zwei Kunstpädagoginnen ihren ganz eigenen Zugang zu den Olympischen Spielen 1972: Es wird gemalt, geschnitten, gestanzt und geklebt, so dass jedes Kind sein ganz eigenes Olympisches Kostüm entwerfen kann: mit Wimpeln, Fähnchen, Startnummern und dem Olympia-Maskottchen Waldi!

For the anniversary festival “50 years Olympic Games in Munich”, the student district Olympisches Dorf would like to invite all interested students to a number of (inter)cultural and diverse events.
From 23rd to 25th June 2022, you will be able to enjoy a varied 3-day festival programme on the grounds where the female athletes used to live; the programme will include bands on the outdoor stage of “Copa Connolly”, talent competition ComOly all to do with the topic inclusion as well as partying in the Olydisco.
Fitting the new Olympic sports “sport climbing” and “skateboarding”, which were added to the Olympic Games 2020, everyone will get the opportunity to have a go at these sports: there’ll be an inclusive sports programme at the basically fully accessible climbing tower, skateboarding taster courses for female* students as well as having fun in your “human kicker team”.
Naturally, the grounds’ history and critically dealing with and discussing sociopolitical questions and inclusion, is not allowed to be missing: the interactive programme will include talks and workshops on topics such as inclusive & gender-sensitive language, critical whiteness, civil courage or also everyday sexism as well as a FLINTA* DJ Workshop.
Art photo projects are to discover the historical site and make it tangible for its current inhabitants. The urban art workshop “Mural and Screen Printing” could be especially interesting for all the bungalows’ inhabitants; the participants in this workshop will be taught how to create their very own individual bungalow façade.
Theme walks and bike tours across the grounds will illustrate its architectural and (inter)cultural variety and will reveal the numerous group projects on sustainability which were developed here during the last 50 years.
And for all the little ones, from 3 years of age, there will also be a special workshop: our students’ children will be able to take part in a creativity course, supervised by two art teachers, to find their very own access to the 1972 Summer Olympics. There will be a lot of drawing, cutting, punching out and gluing going on, so that every child will have the opportunity to create its very own Olympic costume: with pennants, flags, individual numbers and Waldi, the Olympic mascot!
